National Pericles Award |
During the 80's, HRMS, under the name VideoSearch, created several visionary products, including the VideoResume, a tool used by sales organizations to pre-screen employment applicants using mock sales presentations. Later in the decade, HRMS produced and aired a regularly scheduled, half-hour recruitment television program called Meet Your Next Employer. For his pioneering work in recruitment advertising, Mr. Katz received the Employment Management Association's National Pericles Award.
Mr. Katz is active in the business community and has served on the Boards of the Professional Coaches and Mentor Association, Impact (a substance abuse recovery hours) and the UCLA Anderson School of Management Alumni Association. Born in Los Angeles, Mr. Katz holds a B.S. in Business Administration from UCLA and an M.A. in Industrial Relations from the University of Minnesota. |
