Employer Testimonials

It was my pleasure speaking at the Career Moves 2008 University of California-sponsored alumni recruitment event. And from my HR folks today I got great feedback. They were impressed with the overall conference and thrilled with the alumni interest in working in our department. Thanks for everything!
Rhea Turteltaub, Interim Vice Chancellor, UCLA External Affairs

My session at Career Moves 2008 University of California-sponsored alumni recruitment event had about 20+ participants with positive feedback. More importantly, I walked away with several good resumes. So, thanks for the opportunity. Let me know if you have anything else in the future.

Career Moves 2008 University of California-sponsored alumni recruitment event met our expectations. We met about 15 Engineers (software, communications, telemetry) that appeared to have the basic qualifications we were looking for.
Suzan Barbee, Staffing Resource Manager, The Aerospace Corporation

We had a great time at Career Moves 2008 University of California-sponsored alumni recruitment event. Our initial results from the conference were 3 very highly qualified sales professionals. Thank you for the invite. I will see you in San Fran!”

Excellent event and I loved the format and the SeasonedPRO service, quantity and quality of candidates were excellent.
Central Intelligence Agency Recruiter

Quantity of candidates was excellent. Our table was packed every session but one. Toward the end, we were having candidates squeeze in to be a part of our session. A lot of the feedback that we heard from those later candidates was that they had heard "buzz" about our company and opportunities from other people who had visited, and although they had not had any interest in signing up for our table initially, they felt they had to stop by and see what we were all about. That was probably the best thing about the conference, for us. The Recruitment Roundtable format was interesting! I liked that it gave us the opportunity to see so many people, and once we worked out how to spend the limited time that we had, it flowed smoothly.
Brandi Mays, Recruiter, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf

I think that there were an ample number of candidates. I think the quality of attendees was 8 out of 10. I think the round table format was well received and 5 people in an 18 minute period are much easier to manage than 7. I would recommend this conference and it would be nice to get other healthcare / bio / pharmacy / life science firms involved.
Will Dobbins, Recruiter, Amgen

I really liked the recruitment roundtable format and thought the overall conference was very good. I would definitely recommend the conference to employers looking for good quality candidates.
Ron Leventhal, Executive Recruiter Countrywide Financial

I attended the conference recently held at Occidental College. Overall, the program is high quality. It is well constructed and well attended by individuals within our core target market (educated, boomers, income level, etc). It is geared toward boomers in career transition (both voluntary and involuntary) and provides access to potential employers as well as to speakers on a variety of career transition topics (finding your passion, communication skills, networking skills, etc).
Karina Istvan, Lincoln Financial

I’ve met candidates who have good management and sales experience as well as good team building backgrounds. Not to mention that they are all experienced at working in a corporate environment. I would definitely recommend this conference to other employers.
Christine Folz, VP HR, Wells Fargo Bank

We've talked to several qualified applicants for several of our civilian positions ranging from Directors, Staff Nurse, Technical Assistance and various other civilian jobs.
Deputy Sharon Clayton, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Departments Recruiting Unit

What a great seminar you organized with the UCLA Anderson School of Management. The conference is needed not just in California, but everywhere. Feel free to contact me at my web site http://www.seniorsuccess.net. It’s a great source of mid-life success stories.

The Career Conference at Occidental College was excellent. Plenty of useful information, presented by experienced professionals who have succeeded in transitions of their own.
