Lou Mihalyfy
Lou has more than 30 years of management experience in various industries. He retired from PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in November 2005. As Principal of LLM Career Counseling Services, he is now providing assistance to senior executives.
Lou joined PriceWaterhouse in 1997 to lead their Career Placement Services efforts in Southern California. After the merger with Coopers & Lybrand, he continued to focus his efforts on helping PricewaterhouseCoopers' clients and prospective clients find suitable candidates for senior executive positions in their companies. At the same time, he assisted PwC alumni and "friends of the firm" with their job search efforts.
Prior to joining PwC, Lou was Director of Professional Services at Lee Hecht Harrison. He consulted with senior executives from a variety of industries and helped them with their career transitions. Prior to joining Lee Hecht Harrison, he was a consultant with Drake Beam Morin, and also spent several years with an executive search firm. His other business experience includes fifteen years with Financial Corporation of Santa Barbara as Chief Administrative Officer, as well as employee relations positions with Ford Motor Company and Toyota Motor Sales.
Lou has a Master's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Management and Finance from Western Michigan University. He received his undergraduate degree from Wayne State University.

Elle Oliver
Elle Oliver is a multi-faceted career development consultant with extensive experience coaching individuals to success. She consults and trains for corporations, associations and entrepreneurs, addressing career management at all levels and stages. Some of her corporate clients include Northrop Grumman, Sheraton Hotels, Wellpoint, Hewlett Packard, Baskin-Robbins, Bank of America, Exxon-Mobil, Nissan Motor Corporation, Vons Companies and MGM.
As Vice President, Director of Professional Services and Senior Consultant for major career development firm, Lee Hecht Harrison, Elle has provided career transition services to senior executive, management and staff level individuals to ensure optimal career choices and re-employment in the shortest possible amount of time. Elle has over 12 years of experience with Lee Hecht Harrison, consulting with individuals, facilitating groups, delivering a full spectrum of workshops and managing career centers.
Elle spent many years in the international automotive industry where she performed organizational development activities including needs analysis studies and designed and presented career development, operations, management and motivational training programs. Elle also managed special projects in the areas of human resources, finance, IT, facilities, communications, legal, customer service, public relations, advertising, sales and marketing. Additionally, she has held positions in real estate sales, appraisal and development, and has assisted in the formation and management of several new businesses.
Elle is a Certified Coach and Mentor and graduated cum laude from California State University, Long Beach, with a B.S. in Business Administration, majoring in Human Resources Management. Elle is a an active member of the American Society for Training and Development.

Michael A. Thompson
For most of his 28-year professional career, Mike Thompson has been involved in people and organizational development. His academic career has included teaching and administrative positions at leading national universities, including Tulane University, the University of California at Berkley (Haas School of Business), and the University of Virginia (McIntire School of Commerce). At the McIntire School, Mike served as Director of the School’s Career Planning and Placement office, managing career development services and job search support for both undergraduate and graduate business students.
Mike has also worked in the consulting field, working for management consulting firms in Boston and Tokyo. He worked directly with managers and executives at Fortune 100 and Nikkei (225) corporations, including Metropolitan Life Insurance, PepsiCo, Kraft Foods, Avon, Pratt & Whitney, Komatsu, Dai-ichi Seimei Life Insurance, Panasonic, and Kaneka Chemical Corp. His areas of focus were organizational effectiveness and international management.
Currently, Mike serves as faculty and consultant at the California Leadership Academy, State Farm Insurance Companies. In this role, he facilitates leadership development classes with leaders at all levels of State Farm’s California operations. He also provides executive coaching to several of the organization’s senior leaders.
Outside of his work at State Farm, Mike serves as adjunct business instructor and guest lecturer at California State University at Channel Islands, California Lutheran University, and Alliant International University.
Mike received an MBA from the University of Virginia and a BS in Psychology from Tulane University.

Scott Wimer
Scott Wimer has been an organization development consultant and coach since 1982. He has been Principal of Wimer Associates, a Santa Monica-based consulting firm since 1990. Previously, he has held positions at General Dynamics, Kaiser Permanente, and the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power.
Scott’s experience spans many industries. His specialties include leadership and executive coaching, 360° feedback, team building, management development, and conflict management. He leads seminars and workshops on coaching, communication, conflict management, and consulting skills. He also designs customized offsites and retreats to address specific problems and opportunities.
As a coach, Scott has a talent for helping people build on their strengths, yet also deal with their problems head on. He confronts people directly and supportively, and he helps people identify and appreciate what they truly are good at. His coaching clients often achieve high measures of career success, and also develop the capacity to approach their work with greater passion and enthusiasm.
Among Scott’s clients are Amgen, City of Pomona, City of Anaheim, CitySearch, Community Health Councils, Directors’ Guild of America, Hughes Aircraft, The Lemelson Foundation, Loyola Marymount University, Medical Center of North Hollywood, Metropolitan Water District of Southern CA, Saatchi & Saatchi, Surprin, Mayersohn & Edelstone, Towers Perrin, TRW, and the U.S. Navy. Scott also teaches classes at Loyola Marymount University, UCLA, and other institutions.
Scott has published articles in Training and Development, Executive Excellence, The OD Practitioner, Consultation, and the Los Angeles Times. His work has been featured in the videos “Situational Coaching,” “Learning from 360º Feedback,” and “Continuous Team Development.” He is a frequent presenter at conferences, and his work has been written up in various publications.
Scott has a Ph.D. in psychology from UCLA with a concentration in Organizational and Behavioral Science from the Anderson School. He has a B.A. in psychology from the University of Rochester, and he also has studied at the University of London.
